SUPPORT YOUR CORE
A Guest Workshop on Pelvic Health and Deep Core Function
Saturday, February 24th, 2024 | 11 AM
The anatomy of the lower back and pelvis is complex. The pelvic ligaments are important stabilizers that transfer energy from the upper torso to the lower extremities with significant force. Common injuries of the pelvic ligaments occur from pregnancy, gynecologic surgeries, heavy lifting, or even direct trauma - such as a sports-related impact. The resulting lower back, buttock, and pelvic pain can be debilitating!
Take care of yourself and take your BodyShock workouts to the next level with Pelvic Health Physical Therapist, Dr. Marisa Raguso, in a therapeutic workshop to learn how to optimize your core and pelvic floor strength, guiding you in gaining a deeper understanding of your body and deep core by providing education and intentional exercises. Dr. Marisa will show you how an awareness of pelvic floor and core function can prevent injury and support your strength workouts, so you can give it your all on your fitness journey!
